All the photos below on this page were left to me by my Mother,
Mary Evelyn (Schwartz) Thomas, born 25 Jan 1911, Rolla, Phelps Co. MO.
She died 13 June 1948 Gardena, CA. Her family settled in Phelps County
many years ago and many of the descendants still probably live in the area.
Here are a few of her ancestors and the dates they settled in Phelps County:
DEAN, Henry 1844
MATLOCK, John 1826
WILLIAMS, Harrison 1870
All I know of many of these photos are either friends or in some way related to us.
I hope that someone will be able to identify some of them and
want them for their own descendants to cherish.
