Be it remembered that I, W. J. Edwards, being of sound and disposing mind, memory and understanding, and considering the uncertainties of life, do therefore make, publish and declare this to be my last will and testament in the manner and form following, that is to say:

Item - I order all of my debts and funeral expenses to be paid by my executor, herein after named, as soon as conveniently may be after my decease.

Second - I give <unreadable> and bequeath my estate and property, real and personal, as follows:

1st - all of my personal property of every description to my wife Dora Edwards.

2nd - All of my real estate consisting of my home place in the City of Caruthersville known as the Glascock property to be sold by executor S. H. Edwards and proceeds of same to be equally divided share and share alike among the following named parties:

- My wife Dora Edwards to have one (1/9) ninth;

- Heirs of Henry Edwards one (1/9) ninth;

- Heirs of Havre Edwards one (1/9) ninth;

- S. H. Edwards one (1/9) ninth;

- Ellen Gibson one (1/9) ninth;

- Jim Lasshot one (1/9) ninth; <last name may be transcribed wrong>

- W. H. Edwards one (1/9) ninth;

- Emma Mathews one (1/9) ninth;

- John S. Edwards one (1/9) ninth;

And lastly, I make constitute and appoint S. H. Edwards to be the executor without bond of this my last will and testament, hereby, hereby revoking all former wills and testaments by me at any time made heretofore, and reclaiming this to be my last will and testament.

In witness whereof, I have signed and sealed, published and declared this instrument as my last will at Caruthersville, Missouri on this 19th day of November,

This said W. J. Edwards , at Caruthersville, Missouri, on said 19th day of Nov, 1919, signed and sealed this instrument and published and declared the same as and for his last will in our presence and we, at his request and in his presence and in the presence of each other have hereunto written our names as subscribing witness.

Proof of Will

State of Missouri is in the Probate court county of Pemiscot.
Be it remembered that in this the 22nd day of January, A.D. 1920, before me, Joe M. Brasher, judge of the Probate Court, held in and for the county of and State aforesaid personally appeared, James R. Moore and I.W. Glascock who are subscribing witness to the annexed will of W.J. Edwards deceased and being by me first duly sworn in their presence and published and declared said will or instrument of writing to be his last will and testament and at the time of signing the same he the said testator was of sound and disposing mind and more than twenty one years of age, and that said deponents attested said will as witnesses thereto, by subscribing our names to the same in the presence of the testator, and of each other , and at the request of the said testator.

Certificate of the will

State of Missouri; In the Probate Court Count of Pemiscot
I, Jas. M. Brasher, Judge of the Probate court of Pemiscot County, State of Missouri having examined the fore going instrument purporting to be the last will and testament W. J. Edwards, deceased, and signed by James R. Moore and I. W. Glascock each subscribing witnesses thereto in <unreadable> to the execution of the same to declare and ajudge said instrument to be the last will and testament of the said W. J. Edwards deceased late of Pemiscot County, Missouri and the same is hereby admitted to probate.

In testimony whereof, I have hereunto set my hand and affixed the seal of said court at office in Caruthersville, Missouri this 22nd day of January 1920.
