Coming Activities for the Historical Society:

October 2, 2011 - Annual Fete de l'Automne - Fertile, MO

Opening Ceremonies at 11:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m.

Chicken and Dumplin's served only until 3:00 p.m.

Enjoy a beautiful fall day listening to music, visiting with friends, finding your relatives and feasting on the many food delights awaiting you at the annual fete. Includes crafts, story telling, chicken' & dumplin's dinner, croquinoles (French pastry made fresh on site), bakery (lots of home baked goodies), French sausage, ice cream, roasting ears, beverages and lots more. Visit a historical display in the old Maplewood School house, see live demonstrations, trace your ancestors, purchase historical publications, visit the country store, wander the grounds and enjoy a relaxing day with music provided by internationally famous Dennis Stroughmatt et E'spirit Creole.  Directions to the fete are the same as directions to the meeting site at Fertile under "About OMAHS"

(Profitez d'une journée de belle chute à l'écoute de la musique, visite avec vos amis, vos proches de trouver et d'abondance sur les nombreux délices de nourriture vous attend à la fête annuelle. Inclut les objets d'artisanat, histoire à raconter, poulet ' & dîner du dumplin, croquinoles (pâtisserie française fait fraîche sur site), boulangerie (beaucoup de cadeaux au four home), saucisson français, la crème glacée, torréfaction oreilles, boissons et beaucoup plus. Visitez un affichage historique dans la vieille maison Maplewood School, voir des démonstrations en direct, trace de vos ancêtres, acheter des publications historiques, visiter la Boutique du pays, errer les motifs et profitez d'une journée détente avec musique fournie par internationally célèbre Dennis Stroughmatt et Créole Stomp.  Directions pour la fête sont les mêmes que les directions pour le site de rencontre à Fertile sous "OMAHS sur").
