The Society meets on the first Tuesday of each month, at 7:00 p.m. at 460 W 5th StreetLebanon,MO. The Society Library is open for research and book sales on the following days:
It will be open every Thursday of the month from 12:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. from January through December at the same address.

Membership in LCGS is open to anyone interested in genealogy or history.  Many of our regular meetings address subjects of general interest to those interested in Missouri genealogy or history, whether or not that interest is focused on the Laclede County area. Annual memberships are based on a calendar year beginning in January.

NEW OR RENEWAL MEMBERSHIP - $10.00/yr. single $15.00/yr. couple.

All dues are for the calendar year Jan. 1st to Dec. 31st; non pro-ratable. However dues paid within the last quarter of a calendar year will extend membership until Dec. 31st of the following year. Renewals are due Jan. 1st each year. If unpaid by March 1st membership will be dropped necessitating a new membership application for reinstatement.
Quarterly newsletters are dependent on date of dues payment received. We welcome members contributions of articles for our Newsletter, such as queries, bible records, cemetery listings and other genealogical information for publication.

Membership in the Society entitles you to receive our quarterly newsletter and  entitles you to have the surnames that you are working on listed in the Society's Surname pages. New members are also entitled to one free query in our Newsletter when they join, if desired
