If you can, you might want to make a visit to the Knox County Library in Edina.   They have a list of
grave sights in Knox Co. listed by Surname alphabetically.   I am in the process of working with
Marilyn, a librarian there.  I am hoping to have all the cemetery's lists here some day.
It will be a long term project.  Any help you can give is appreciated.
Maybe you could stop by and see Marilyn and transcribe a cemetery or anything you feel would be
of value to us genealogy researchers?  Then just email it to

Hi!  I am a lifelong resident of Knox County who enjoys walking the area cemeteries when I have time. I wouldn't mind doing cemetery look-ups for others when I can. I am most familiar with the Catholic cemeteries in Edina and Baring, the Bee Ridge Church Cemetery, and the Millport Cemetery  in Benton Township.
Since I live near Knox City and Newark, I could look in those cemeteries also.

To all who have ancestors buried in the Davis Cemetery near Edina, financial help is needed to help keep the cemetery mowed this year. As some of you know, for years it was totally neglected. The late Dave Jenner went in a few years ago and worked hard clearing brush and mowing this cemetery for free, even though he didn't have family buried there. Anyway, if you'd like to help keep the cemetery mowed, please send donations to Marilyn Goodwin at the Knox County Library in Edina, MO 63446, or to Mary Lingenfelter at the Citizens Bank of Edina. Thanks!

Knox County Cemetery Lookups

Mary has begun compiling some listings from cemetery's in Knox County, but it isn't near complete.
She wouldn't mind doing lookups if you don't mind waiting for her to visit the cemeteries.
Remember, people are doing these lookups and helpful genealogy things for you, for free,
so patients is the key word here. *smile*

Here is  Mary's e-mail. mbstrain at marktwain dot net
