Blue Springs
Blue Springs is a suburb of Kansas City, Missouri. As of the census of 2000, there were 48,080 people, 17,286 households, and 13,362 families residing in the city.
Blue Springs is located just east of Kansas City along Interstate 70 near the Missouri River and is part of the Kansas City, Missouri-Kansas metro area. Blue Springs' history is tied to the passage of settlers on their westward journey. Pioneers found the area to be a perfect place, due to the large quantity of cool and clean water from a spring of the Little Blue River; hence the name "Blue Springs". Just 20 minutes from downtown Kansas City, Missouri.
