Witnesses: Nannie Reynolds and Will Neuhaus.

Children's Names: John Fredrick Arnold, born at Clinton, Missouri, 319 N. 4th St., 12:30am, October 6th, 1908. Virginia Elizabeth Arnold born at 502 W. Adams St., Butler, Missuri, 3:30am, September 9, 1920. Hulda Catherine DeWitt Arnold, born April 2, 1905 at Stotesbury, Missouri.

Marriages: 

John Frederick Arnold, son of J. W. and Emma M. Arnold and Hulda Cathrine DeWitt, daughter of Mr. & Mrs. Harvey DeWitt, were married Monday, July 8, 1929, 8:30pm at 303 N. 14th Street, Kansas City, Kansas, Rev. P. M. Strole? Officating.

Deaths:

J. W. Arnold was divorced from Emma M. Arnold by the Circuit Court of Taney County, Missouri, October 22, 1930. Judge R. L. Gideon presiding. J. W. Arnold died of heart trouble on March 15, 1939. He passed away suddently, his body found by his daughter, Virginia Elizabeth. The fly leaf of the Bible says: J. W. Arnold, Butler, Missouri, October 9, 1918?

Also in the Bible were several clippings, acknowledgment cards and sympathy flower cards. They all seem to relate to the death of Mrs. Effie Whisler who died November 13, 1940. One thank you card, addressed to Mr. and Mrs. Asa Faurot, Mable M. Dickenson, The Ladies Aid Society, M. E. Church, and the Senior Class. A clipping contains 4 "in loving memory" ads from the classified section of an unidentified newspaper. Written two years after the death of Mrs. Effie Whisler, one is signed "sadly missed by son, Glenn Whisler and family". Another is signed "sadly missed by husband, children and grandchildren". 

Another says "in sad and loving memory of our mother, Mrs. Effie M. Whisler �." And signed Mrs. Edith A. Thiry, yet another, also in memory "of my dear mother.." signed by Ernest Whisler and family.
