Although the society often meets at the Scenic Regional Library in Pacific, meeting place and time does vary. Meetings are held on the third Wednesday of odd months. The May, July and September meetings are held at 7:00 p.m., but the January, March, and November meetings are held at 10:00 a.m. to accommodate older drivers. An annual picnic is held in July of each year. Meetings are occasionally held at other locations, including the arboretum. Special meetings are called from time to time, such as the "obituary parties," at which members cut and paste up obituaries for the society records. Special events and short trips of a historical nature are also scheduled from time to time. Call (636) 257-2712 to ascertain meeting dates and times.

The cost of the newsletter, The Tree Shaker, is included in the dues. The Tree Shaker is published 6 times a year and back issues, dating back to Volume One, Issue One, 1987, are available for purchase. See book list.
