: was a small village located in the northeast part of Dunklin County, just south of the Stoddard County line and just west of the New Madrid County line.
Located on the sand ridge west of the (former) East Swamp. It was settled around 1900 as a sawmill camp by Mr. Townley and Mr. Painton. It had a post office between 1901-1918.
