Located on old Jones' farm west of Salem off D highway on Dry Fork on land owned by members of Mitford Jones family.
Cemetery is about 200 yards behind an old log dwelling.

HAYS, JOHN ARTHUR    Born 1827 in Madison Co AL. Son of John Marshall Hays & Sarah A. Pigg. Children: James Franklin (1852-1932), Eliza Jane Hyer (1854-1891), Thomas B. (1855-1925), Jasper Newton (1860-1914) and Eli McDonald (1862-1941).
HAYS, MAHALA WERNER    Born 1830 in Alabama.

HYER, ELIZA JANE HAYS    1854 - Apr. 17, 1891.    Daughter of John Arthur Hays & Mahala Werner. Married John Hyer, Jr.

HUSBAND & WIFE:
JOHNS, ELIJAH EDWARD    1815 - Mar. 22, 1861.    Son of Elisha 'Elijah' Johns & Sally ___. Born in Kentucky. They had 11 sons and 1 daughter.
JOHNS, ELIZABETH CRADDOCK    1818 - Jun. 1, 1889.    Daughter of John Craddock & Sarah Bartlett. Born in Kentucky.

LADY, GASTERWOOD ELIZABETH    1840 - Feb. 8, 1886.
