Need any information on Willis (SESSIONS ?) SESSION. Born abt. 1806 and died abt. 1890's. I'm guessing his wife's name was Diantha, 1880 Ohio census report was hard to read. They moved from Lorain County, OH to Gallatin, MO. The two are buried in Gallatin.

I am looking for information on my ggg grandparents, the FARRAR's and the DYKES'. Samuel S.FARRAR(dob app.1822) and Martha Phillips FARRAR lived in Daviess County in the mid to late 1800's maybe in the Pattonsburg or Liberty township? John Henry DYKES(dob 1836) and Mary Ellen Smith DYKES(dob 1844) lived in Daviess county around the same time. Their sons(my gg grandfathers) were, Samuel Edward FARRAR and John O. DYKES. Any information on these families would be appreciated.

William Fry married Priscilla CAMPBELL in Daviess County on 10 June, 1860. Their son, Enoch FRY, and his father went West about 1900 to Montana and then Idaho. Does anyone know where Priscilla died? I assume in Daviess County. Who were her parents and did they have any other children besides Enoch? Anxious to correspond with anyone with information on this family.

John's Parents were Enoch Dawson and Permelia {Paxton] Dawson. Perelia's mother was Allie Paxton. These are my ancesters on my Mother side of the family. I am searching for my great-grandfather James Thomas WARREN b. approx. 1863 KY who married Mary CALLOWAY b. 4-1856 IN, d. 12-18-1924 in Caddo Co., OK on 6-22-1886 in Daviess Co., MO. There was a John (T.or F.) Warren who was a witness. They had 4 children : Joseph Blaine Warren b. 5-28-1887 in Daviess Co., James Coleman Warren b. 6-18-1892 Clinton Co., Nancy Warren b. 4-1896 Clinton Co., and Mary B. Warren b. 5-11-1899 in Clinton Co., MO. James T. and Mary seperated before the birth of their 4th child. Mary and 4 children moved to Caddo Co., OK. We don't know what happened to James T. Warren.

In the 1840's and the 1850's their were several families of DOWNINGs in Davies County. One, that of Morean DOWNING, appears to have moved on in 1860; but that of Powhatan Downing stayed until the 1870's. I need information on these families. Are their any descendants of Morean or Powhatan out there somewhere? Morean had a son William Austin Downing, who is my gr grandfather. He married Sebrina HUTTON.

I'm looking for information on David MCQUEEN, born on December 23, 1852 and died on June 5,1921. He was a farmer living near the Jamesport/ Locksprings Missouri area. He is buried in the Clear Creek Church Cemetery. I would appreciate any information known about David and his family. It is believed he moved to Daviess County from Tennessee. I am seeking information on James RHEA, born 25 Apr. 1799 in Greenbriar Co., VA, died by 1853 in Daviess Co., MO, and his second wife, Sarah J. (GOODMAN) RHEA. James first married Betty CALLISON in Pocahontas Co., VA in 1822. The family moved to Missouri around 1838. He married his second wife, Mrs. Sarah J. GOODMAN, on 4 Apr 1847 in Daviess Co., MO. Known children (from 1850 census data) and approx. birth years were: Margaret (1827), Robert (1829), James F. (1831), Susan (1834), Davis H. (1837), Elizabeth A. (1842), Catherine (1844), John A. (1849) and Eliza H. (1850). John A. RHEA married Sarah L. HARRIS in 1872 in Daviess Co. and may have died by 1880. Eliza H. RHEA married Joseph WYNN in 1873 in Daviess Co. Sarah J. Seeking descendants of James MORGAN, who died in Daviess County, Missouri, in 1846. A copy of his will was recorded in Prince Edward County, Virginia, where he lived prior to his removal to Missouri. My BROWN family: came to Daviess County in 1838 via wagon trail from Henry County, Indiana. Moses and Elizabeth HADLEY Brown and their children. My CLINE Family: Came to Daviess County before 1850 from Illinois/Ohio Tamsey Winders Cline, widow of George C;ome, married James Johnson. Her children: Henry Harrison Cline md Eunice Lucinda Brown, Tamsey Ann Cline md William Harrison Mc Cart, George S. Cline md Mariam Smith, John Cline md Frances Mc Cart, Eliza Jane Cline md Moses G. Brown. The rest of her children didn't live in Daviess County.
