Virgil Waters Dies At Hospital
Virgil Martin Waters, 65, Owensville, died Thursday at Charles E. Still Hospital following a lengthy illness. He was born Feb. 17, 1907, in Jefferson City, the son of John and Frances McFadden Waters. Mr. Waters was married March 28, 1925, at Jefferson City, to the former Miss Elsie Wiles. He had been pastor of the Full Gospel Tabernacle for many years and was pastor of the Abundant Life Temple, Jefferson City, before becoming ill. Survivors include his mother, Mrs. Frances Waters, Jefferson City. Funeral services will be at 1:30 p.m. Sunday at the Gottenstroeter Funeral Home, Owensville, with the Rev. Thurman Smith and the Rev. A.M. Boatman officiating. Burial will be in the Owensville City Cemetery.
