Mrs. Shadwick Dead
Mrs. Ruth Shadwick died at her home in this city Sunday, Oct. 16, at 10 o'clock p.m., of heart disease. She was born 1830, and was therefore 74 years of age at the time of her death. She was married to Nelson Shadwick Jan. 1st 1860, and her husband died Dec. 9th, 1881. Mrs. Shadwick was very well known among the older people of the city, and was an admirable Christian character. She was a faithful member of the Baptist church. Ten children survive her.
