Hiram Bittick Died At The Home Yesterday
Was Former Member of Company L Here and Served In The World War

The death of Hiram Bittick, twenty-eight years old, occurred at 4 o'clock yesterday afternoon at the family home, 516 East Ashley Street. Mr Bittick's death resulted from meningitis of the brain. During his life Mr. Bittick served in the recent World War and was a member of Company L. He was formerly a  resident of Callaway County, but has been residing here for several years. His many friends regret to hear of his death.

The deceased is survived by his mother, Mrs. Bertha Stampfli, one sister, Miss Euhal Bittick and four brothers, Roy, Cecil and Famous Bittick's. The funeral service will be held on Sunday afternoon.
