F.O. Bittick, 46, Dies at St. Mary's

 

Famous O. Bittick, 46, 1027 East McCarty, died yesterday afternoon at St. Mary's Hospital. He had been in failing health for two years. He was born in Tebbetts Oct. 7, 1904, the son of Hiram and Bertha Bittick. He married Miss Nettie Welch Jan. 25, 1936, here. Bittick was a painter. Besides his wife, he is survived by a son, James, of the home; his mother and stepfather, Joseph Stampfli of Jefferson City; four brothers, Frank and Cecil of Jefferson City, Roy of Holt Summit, and Otto of Kansas City; two sisters, Mrs. Mary Stewart of St. Louis, Mrs. Eula Reno of Jefferson City. He was a member of the Baptist church.
