These are my G.G.Grandparents. This picture was taken around 1855 when they were married in Cole County.

Elisha Franklin Hodges b. 1835 Franklin Co., Mo. Parents were Alfred & Elizabeth Rebecca Patterson Hodges.

Lived around Cole County and some family is buried there. Elisha Franklin Hodges remarried 1874 to Nancy Simmons and they have several children who were from Cole County, Mo.
Mary Elizabeth Shepherd b.1835 Louisa Co., Va. Parents were James Thomas and Jane P. Sims Shepherd. Came to Cole Co. in the 1840s, and family is buried there.
They had 3 children: Jane Elizabeth Hodges Freshour, Lucy E. Hodges Minor, and John Joseph Hodges who married Sarah Margaret Henderson Hodges.

All their children were married in Cole County, Mo.
