Bill was born to William R. Sr. and Bernice Nicholas on February 10, 1948, in KCMO. He graduated from Oak Park High School in May 1966.

He married Linda Raines on August 1, 1966. Bill retired from Praxair Surface Technologies in March 1999 as a General Foreman after 29 years of service.

Bill's first love was his wife and family, his second love was his antique cars, especially his 1963 Galaxie convertible.

Bill was a man of strength and character, a loving husband, and father and a loyal friend.
