My husband (Jim Lockwood) and I visited the Moore Cemetery in Webster Co., Missouri on November 30, 2003 and transcribed the few inscriptions we were able to find. We are not related to any of the people buried there so I dont have any special information on the individuals buried there. I did do some census look ups hoping that I could find a familial connection between the different surnames but I was unable to determine any connection between them.

This cemetery is located on a private farm about 7 miles east of Marshfield, MO. I would describe it as both abandoned and seriously endangered. There are posts and a gate left from where a fence used to be but the fence is gone and the cows are knocking over the tombstones.
