I have no personal knowledge of any burials or people located in these cemeteries in this county. Please do not email asking for information, I'm sorry I just don't have any. Please send your questions to the MO Cemeteries Mailing List. ...... Ann |
Alexander Cemetery | Located 3 miles east of Carterville, Mo. on HH highway and then about 1/4 mile south and behind a new house, this cemetery is a very old burial place. There have been some attempts at cleanup around a few of the newer graves but large trees and brush are growing amoung the remaining older stones and the place is in bad shape. |
Gresham | If anyone knows of any govt. grants or organizations that would be interested in the clean up of old cemetery's... I actually have one that is on my property that I have land locked... there are many unmarked graves and some really old civil war graves as well as some free mason stones... nobody has been buried there in close to 75 or so years from what I can tell... Many of the stones need reset and the land really needs re-cleared. Some surnames on stones: Reeder, Williams, Robertson, Decker........ Micheal Bridgman |
