| Worley Jackson "Jack" Catron, 1893-1981 was a son of Elijah Catron and lived in Barry County for a time. He was called "Wild Horse Jack" and rode & broke horses. He invented one of the first versions of "pick-up pliers". Photo isn't dated. |

He and his wife had resided in Fairfield, CA for some time also. He later was a horse trainer and did rodeos and was also an inventor. He was called 'Wild Horse Jack.' He had a line of car wax called 'Catron's Car Wax' The can was blue and gold and had a picture of a running cat at the top front of the can (CAT RUN....Catron......get the idea?).
