| LoVella's Note:
I'm the little girl on the right who has a big frown on her face - # 10 Red side. Mother volunteered me to be part of the program by playing the piano and I didn't have my music! It had
not been too long since my recital so I did play however.
The NGT is my father, Norman Truhitte. The woman to his right (behind the lady with the hat) is my mother, Blanche (VanZandt) Truhitte. My grandmother, Margaret Josephine (Edens) VanZandt is standing near my mother in the dress with horizontal stripes. Marilyn Henson, my cousin, is in the white blouse. Brother Charles VanZandt is the first man about halfway down on the right two people behind me. Is the man behind my father Emory Melton? If not, I think he was an attorney or office holder. Many other faces are familiar but I cannot remember their names after all these years. I think Effie Sullivan is the lady in the dark dress on the left side of the table. I corresponded with one of her relatives and sent her this picture a few years ago. |
