Sir,

In regard

to Pension Claim of Johnathan Eden I have to state that Johnathan Eden was sounded by gunshot in left shoulder while ingaged in battle on Flat Creek near Clarks Mill Barry Co. Mo about August 1^st 1861. he was under command of a Capt. Charles Galloway commander of a Mo. Home Guard company.

I was present with said Johnathan Eden and saw him receve said wound, and know that he wis in the line of his duty.
