Research Note: The first child in the first row (on the left) is my uncle, George Stephenson. The child in the second row listed as Ralph Stevenson is actually his brother Elmer Stephenson. Jerry Stephenson

2013 - Ted Coatney, a member of Barry County, MO Places and Things Remembered on Face Book says, "The Stephenson group were the children of my mother's sister (Iva Edwards Stephenson). They had moved to CA by the time I was born. Some of them moved back to Southern Missouri and NW Arkansas, but I really never knew them. Bessie married a Goodall - he was a preacher at a church near Yellville, Arkansas for something like 50 years.

I will name the ones I know.

Front Row: Claude Stevenson; Zelma Periman, (cousin); Dollie Channel; .?.; Orville Periman, (cousin)

Middle Row: Billy Channel; Ralph Stevenson; Edward Periman, (cousin); Alvin Periman "Red", cousin - (He won the MO State Fiddlers Championship 6 times!); Ova Coatney, (sister); Edith Stever Prier (teacher)

Back Row: Marzelle Edie; Lonnie Channel; -- Stevenson; .?.

The Stevensons, Perimans, and Coatneys were first cousins.

They were the children of three Edwards sisters that were raised east of Shell Knob on James River. Table Rock Lake covered the Edwards farm, which had been in the Edwards family since the 1850's."
