MATRIMONIAL
BELL-FOURNIER Mr. Daniel Bell and Miss Alma Fournier were married at St. Joseph's church at 6 o’clock this morning. The ceremony was performed by Father Rey, pastor of the church. Only a few intimate friends of the couple were present. Mr. and Mrs. Bell left for St. Paul city and Minneapolis immediately after the wedding, and after a brief honeymoon will return to this city to reside. They have numerous friends here who will wish them health, wealth and prosperity. On Saturday evening Mr. H. J. Northey and Miss Lillian Rice were married at the residence of Rev. H. D. Simpson, pastor of the First Baptist church, that gentleman performing the ceremony. BINTLIFF-TECKYORK The marriage of Miss Mae Teckyork, daughter of Mr
and Mrs L V Frost of New York City, and Mr Claude Addison Bintliff, son
of Mr and Mrs Charles J Bintliff, 1958 Penn avenue south, was quietly
solemnized at 4 p.m. yesterday at the home of the bride's grandparents,
Mr and Mrs James Hamilton, of Stillwater. The Rev John McCoy of
the Presbyterian Church of Stillwater read the service in the presence

CURRIE-BENNETT Mr. John Currie, Sr., and Mrs. Sophia Bennett were married in St. Michael’s church at 8 this morning, Rev. Father Gaughan officiating. The groom is over 70 years old, this is his second matrimonial venture, the bride is 65 years of age, and has been lead to the altar twice before. GILMORE-FOSTER The wedding of Miss Alice May Foster, daughter of Mr and Mrs Eben Foster, 2627 Second avenue south, and Mr John P Gilmore of Stillwater was quietly solemnized Saturday evening, May 20, at the home of the bride's parents. Mr and Mrs Richard Hortvet of Minneapolis, were the only attendants. The bride was given in marriage by her father. A reception for immediate relatives and friends was given following the ceremony. LARSON-THELANDER
Miss Hilda M Thelander of Stillwater and Mr Louis Alfred Larson were married at the home of the bridegrooms parents, 3333 Bloomington Avenue on Wednesday evening. Rev. F A Elmquist officiating. The bridegroom's sister, Miss Ellen Larson, was bridesmaid. Mr Ernest Thelander, a brother of the bride, was the best man, and Arvilla Bickford was the flower girl. The bride entered on her father's arm and he gave her in marriage. During the ceremony Miss Margaret Grimm played the wedding march and Miss Timberlake sang "O, Promise Me." A reception for 50 guests followed the ceremony, for which the house was decorated in southern smilax, palms and spring flowers. After a short wedding trip, Mr and Mrs Larson will be at home at 3333 Bloomington Avenue. A WEDDING
LORENS-PETERSON Mr. Frank G. Lorens and Miss Nellie Peterson were married yesterday at the residence of the bride’s parents, Mr. and Mrs. Chas. Peterson, of Vasa, near Marine. The ceremony which united the lives of the young couple was performed under a canopy in the open air, and was witnessed by a large number of their friends, who were present by invitation. The bridesmaids were: Alice Peterson, Emma Sundin, Josephine Lorens and Edith Copas, and the groomsmen were: Messrs. Godfrey Peterson, Frank Copas, Wm. Lorens and Wm. Johnson. The wedding was a most happy affair. Fully two hundred guests were present and the couple received a large number of useful and valuable presents. Mr. and Mrs. Lorens are highly esteemed in their community for their many admirable qualities, and their friends wish them all the joy imaginable in their married life. Among the prominent people were: From Stillwater, Mr. and Mrs. John G. Nelson, Mr. and Mrs. Alex. Johnson, Mr. and Mrs. Frank Raiter, Mr. and Mrs. August Booren, Mr. and Mrs. P. N. Peterson, Mr. and Mrs. Chas. Boo, Mr. and Mrs. John Booren, Sheriff C. P. Holcomb, C. A. Ludwig from Center City, Mr. and Mrs. J. A. Halberg, and the Peterson brothers. IN BONDS OF MARRIAGE
NELSON-JENKS The Marriage of N. A. Nelson and Miss June E. Jenks, at the Presbyterian Church Today. A happy and very pretty event occurred at the Presbyterian church this morning, at 11 o’clock, in the marriage of Mr. Nicholas A. Nelson to Miss June Estelle Jenks. The church was filled with the many friends of the contracting parties, and the beautiful costumes of the ladies gave a rich and brilliant coloring to the scene. The altar was handsomely decorated with cut flowers, palms and potted plants. Mrs. Charles H. Browne presided at the organ and to the sweet music of Lohengrin’s wedding march, the bridal party slowly moved down the aisle. First were the ushers, Theodore Chambers, Ludy Molander, Joseph Sicard and P. E. Poirier; then came the bride’s maid, Miss Bertha Johnson, handsomely gowned in pink with overdress of mousseline de soie, and carrying a bunch of roses; following her was the bride, looking slightly pale but beautiful in a charming gown of white, and carrying a bunch of bride’s roses. At the chancel they were met by the groom accompanied by his best man, Edwin M. Mosier, and in the solemn ritual of the Presbyterian church, Dr. Danner performed the ceremony uniting the contracting parties. Following the ceremony the bridal party repaired to the residence of the bride’s parents, at the corner of Fifth and Maple streets, where a wedding breakfast was served. Mr. and Mrs. Nelson then left on the 1:45 Duluth train for Minneapolis and will spend several days at Minnetonka, after which they will enjoy the excursion by the Minnesota Editorial association to Milwaukee and Detroit. They will be at home after September 1, at 709 North Fourth street. The bride and groom are well known to most of our readers, all of whom will unite in hearty congratulations and best wishes. The bride is the daughter of Alderman and Mrs. Austin Jenks, a young lady who has grown to womanhood in Stillwater, and whose many graces have endeared her to all who know her. The happy groom is an enterprising and popular young business man, the editor of the Washington County Journal, and a newspaper man well known throughout the state. SWANSON-NORVE The marriage of Miss Sigrid Norve, daughter of Mr
and Mrs Nels Norve of Red Wing, Minn., and Mr Alex Swanson, son of Mr
and Mrs Elof Swanson of South Stillwater, took place Wednesday at the
home of the bride's parents. The Rev. C Roth officiated.
Autumn foliage decorated the altar. Mr Robert Swanson acted as his brother's best
man. Miss Edith Norve as her sister's maid of honor wore a gown
of white voile trimmed with silk shadow lace. The bridal gown was
of white satin, and she wore a tulle veil made in cap effect. She
