John Jenkins, Sr. and wife, Mary Ann Dodge came from Cornwall, England to Ontario, Canada. In the early 1880's the Jenkins family settled in Kittson County, Minnesota. There were three boys and three girls in the family. They were: John Jr., William, Richard, Mary Ann, Sarah, and Flora.
