Maplewood, Minn.- Joseph Engelbrakson, age 90, of Hazelridge Apartments, Maplewood, MN and formerly of Drayton, ND died Thursday, May 2, 2002 after a short illness in Woodbury Care Center at Woodbury, MN.

Family members include his dauther, Myrna and son-in-law Miland Meek of Oakdale, MN; two grandsons, Michael (Jennalyn) Meek of Eden Prairie, MN and Matthew (Heather) Meek of Woodbury, MN; a granddaughter, Maridee Meek of Maplewood, MN; and two great-grandsons, Elijah Foster and Joseph Meek.
He was preceded in death by his parents, a brother, Henry Engelbrakson, and five sisters, Ruth, Alma, Agnes, and Helga Engelbrakson, Alma Lindahl, and his beloved wife of 54 years, Mae.
Funeral services were held Friday, May 10, 2002 at 11 a.m. in Skjeberg Lutheran Church, Drayton, with Ben Carlsen and Rev. Dan Klug officiating.
