MORE INFO The Itasca Genealogy Club objectives are to provide an association for those interested in genealogy; to collect and possibly publish genealogical, biographical and historic material relating to Itasca County and Minnesota families; to educate; and to foster an increased interest in genealogy.

Meetings are called to order the first Thursday of every month at 7:00p.m. in the Bovey Village Hall club room, Bovey, MN. Annual membership dues are individual $10.00. Canadian membership dues are $ 12.00. (Please send a SASE for return of your membership card). The Club library is on the 2nd floor of the Bovey Village hall.

The Club publishes a quarterly newsletter for our members. Queries are published free of charge to. Free will donations are accepted to cover the cost of publishing and mailing fee. Queries should be mailed to Barbara Adams 2505 Fraser Street Grand Rapids, MN 55744 .

The Itasca Genealogy Club Library is staffed the 3rd Tuesday of each month between 2:00- 6:00 p.m. by a club member volunteer. If you wish to visit the club library at another time please check in with the librarian at the Bovey Public Library. The Bovey Public library is open Monday - Friday.

The Itasca Genealogy Club holdings include local history books, a collection of Obits, Engagements, Weddings, births, service records, old telephone & city directory books, county Atlas (current and old) and Itasca county cemetery index books. The club owns many genealogical reference books for all over United States and Canada. The club also owns the 9 CD set of the New England Genealogical Register.

Volunteer members from the Itasca Genealogy Club will do local research for a fee.
