Meetings
Held the second Thursday of each month. The meetings are called to order at 7:30 p.m. Meetings are held at the Becker County Museum, 714 Summit Avenue, Detroit Lakes, Minnesota.
Membership
You are invited to join the HOLGS. Just sent $5.00 a year to the treasurer. Please include information that might be helpful in helping you. Send along an ancestor chart.

The newsletter is published quarterly. Please check the expiraton date on the mailing label. If this does not agree with your records, please let us know. Newsletters will be sent only one issue after the expiration day. If you miss an issue, also let us know. Back issues are available upon request.
Research
HOLGS charges $5.00 per complete name search that is done. Also, there is a $.20 charge for each sheet that is photocopied. If no information is found on your name, the money will be returned. We must ask a fee, because this is the way we raise revenue to purchase more genealogical supplies. Please do not ask us to do this for free. You may post your queries on our Query Page. You are also welcome to use our facilities yourself. Our library is located in the Becker County Historical Museum. Their hours are Monday - Saturday, 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Admission is free to members of HOLGS or the Becker County Historical Society. A small admission fee is requested from non-members.
