"Smiths Creek - Earl J. Eagen, 81, of Smiths Creek, died today in Mercy Hospital after a long illness. He was born Oct. 17, 1892, in Smiths Creek and lived here all his life. He attended Pine River School and is a retired farmer. He was a member of St. Christopher's Catholic parish, Marysville. He married the former Alma M. Crimmins on June 21, 1911, at St. Clair. He is survived by his wife; three sons, Martin J. and Joseph E. Eagen, both of Marysville, and Lawrence E. Eagen, Smiths Creek; three daughters, Mrs. Peter M. Howard, Port Huron, Mrs. Francis O'Connor, Marysville, and Sister Mary Cecilia, S. C., of Birmingham; a brother, William D. Eagen, Beaverton; 27 grandchildren and 25 great-grandchildren and 25 great-grandchildren. A son, Patrick H. Eagen, died Jan. 4, 1956. The remains will be in Karrer-Simpson Funeral Home after 2 p.m. Saturday. Arrangements are incomplete."

Joseph E. Eagen
"Marysville - Joseph E. Eagen, 75, died Friday, Aug. 13, 1993, in Mercy Hospital. He was born April 4, 1918, in Smiths Creek. He married the former Sally E. Tyson. Mr. Eagen was a veteran of World War II, serving with the 147th Indantry in the South Pacific. He was a member of Lakeland Beagle Club and St. Christopher and St. Stephen Church. He was an avid hunter and enjoyed his cabin in Michigan's Upper Peninsula. He is survived by his wife, Sally' a brother and sister-in-law, Lawrence and Marcella Eagen of Smiths Creek; a sister and brother-in-law, Madeline and Francis O'Connor of Marysville and a sister, Sr. Mary Cecelia (Dorothy) Eagen of Detroit; several nieces and nephews. He was preceded death by brothers, Martin, Frank and Patrick and a sister, Eleanor Howard. Services are 10 a.m. Monday in St. Stephen Catholic Church. The Rev. Frederick A. Bodde, pastor, will officiate. Burial will be in St. Mary's Cemetery in St. Clair. Pallbearers are Jim, Pat, Joe and Tom Eagen, Bernie Howard and Dave Tokarski. Visiting is 1 to 9 p.m. today in the Karrer-Simpson-Crawford Funeral Home. A rosary is at 8:30 p.m. Memorials may be made to the charity of the donor's choice."

Resident Here 50 Years Dies Sunday - Mrs. Hattie E. Eaton, 71, resident of Port Huron more than 50 years, died Sunday afternoon in the home of her daughter, Mrs. Herbert Harris, 909 Court street, after a long illness. She had been a member of First Baptist church 50 years and was an active member of the Women's Relief Corps. She was the widow of Leland L. Eaton. She is survived by a son Lee Eaton, four daughters, Mrs. John Anderson and Mrs. Harris, both of Port Huron, Mrs. Samuel McCauley, Detroit, and Mrs. Daniel Dylinger, Memphis; two brothers, V. R. Hall, Port Huron, and Elmer Hall, Fulton, N.Y., 11 grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren. Funeral Services will be held at 3PM on Tuesday from the home of Mrs. Harris, 909 Court street, Rev. Harold H. Davis, pastor of First Baptist church, will officiate. Burial will take place in Lakeside cemetery."

Leland L. Eaton, 59, died Monday afternoon in his residence, 526 Willow street, after a long illness. He is survived by a stepson, Harold Daines, Port Huron; three sisters, Mrs. John Anderson and Mrs. Herbert L. Harris, both of Port Huron, and Mrs. Sam McCauley, Detroit; and several nieces and nephews. He was born in Port Huron, Aug. 11, 1879. The remains are in the Arthur E. Smith funeral home, where funeral services will be conducted at 3:30 p.m. Wednesday by Rev. Clarence E. Basbinder, pastor of South Park Baptist church. Burial will be in Lakeside Cemetery."

Madge Haddad Eaton, 37, wife of Leland L. Eaton, died Sunday morning in her home, 526 Willow street after a long illness. She was born in Richmond, VA, Aug. 9, 1899, and had been a resident of Port Huron 18 years. She is survived by her husband, her father, John M. Haddad: six brothers, Fred M., John, William, Icer J. Howard and Edward M. Haddad, all of Port Huron: and three sisters, Mrs. R. J. Anter, Port Huron: Mrs. Sam Matar, Saginaw: and Miss Mable Haddad. Detroit. Funeral services will be held at 1:30 pm. Tuesday in the Arthur E. Smith funeral home. Rev. A. E. DuPlan, rector of Grace Episcopal church, will officiate. Burial will be in Lakeside cemetery. The remains are in the funeral home."

"St. Clair, Jan. 2 - James S. Edgette, 73, resident of St. Clair county 60 years, died early today at his home, 111 Orchard street, after a short illness. Mr. Edgette was born June 24, 1880 in Macomb County. He retired five years ago from the Hannah Steamship company after 40 years of sailing. Surviving are his widow, Barbara; three sons, Gerald, James and Donald, all of St. Clair; a brother, William, Memphis, and seven grandchildren. Remains are at the L. C. Friederichs and Son funeral home where services will be held at 2:30 p.m. Monday. Rev. Frank Hartley, pastor of the Methodist church, will officiate. Burial will be in Hillside Cemetery."

"Frank J. Edson, a well known farmer who had lived in the town of St. Clair for a number of years died at the residence of Reuben Brines on Saturday, aged Sixty five years. The funeral services were held at the Adair M. E. church on Tuesday and he was buried in the Balfour cemetery."

Edward P. Edwardsen
St. Clair Township - Edward P. Edwardsen, 58, died March 2 [1983] in his home after a short illness. Mr. married Betty Leeson June 10, 1967, in Bethel Lutheran Church, St. Clair Shores. Mrs. Edwardsen was a member of the Pattern and Model Makers Association of Warren for many years. He is survived by his wife; a daughter, Mrs. George (Merris) Edgar, Mount Clemens; and four sons, Keith, Alan and Lee Lockrem, all of Deltona, Fla., and John Lockrem, Richmond; 10 grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren. Funeral services were held March 5 in the Merlin L. Trumble Colonial Funeral Home-St. Clair Highway Chapel, China Township. The Rev. J. Leonard Raker, pastor of the Westhaven Baptist Church, officiate. Burial was in Kittridge Cemetery, Snyderville."

Mary Joyce Mills Eeten
"Rochester, Minn. - Ms. Mary Joyce Mills Eeten, 61, died Wednesday, Oct. 6, 1999 in Rochester, after a long battle with cancer. She was the daughter of the late George and Ruby Mills of Port Huron. Mary graduated from Port Huron High School. She held a bachelor of science degree from Mankato (Minn.) State University in accounting. She was a field auditor with the state of Minnesota. She was a member of the First Unitarian Universalist Church of Rochester and a volunteer for Planned Parenthood and Heritage House Museum. Mary is survived by a daughter, Susan McKenzie of Buffalo, Minn.; three sons, Gordon of Phoenix, John of Minneapolis, and Thomas (Cathy) of Kasson, Minn.; five grandchildren; a sister, Elva (Clair) Mills of Lexington, Mich.; a brother, Donald (Jean) Mills of Vicksburg, Miss.; and several nieces and nephews. A memorial service was held Saturday, Oct. 9, 1999. Mary's cremated remains have been committed to the First Unitarian Universalist Church Memorial Garden in Rochester."

"St. Clair, June 22 — Mrs. Ada Catherine Eichler, 59, an employee of the Detroit Gasket Company, died unexpectedly Wednesday evening in St. Clair Community Hospital after she became ill at work. Mrs. Eichler was born Dec. 14, 1891, in St. Clair. Surviving are a son, Herbert Eichler Jr., St. Clair; a daughter, Mrs. Joyce Haverson, Narragansett, R. I.; her mother, Mrs. Charles Radimaker, St. Clair; a sister, Mrs. Gertrude O’Claire, Wyandotte; two brothers, Floyd Radamacher, St. Clair, and Raymond Radamacher, Detroit, and three grandchildren. Funeral services will be held at 10:30 a.m. Saturday in the L. C. Friederichs and Son funeral home and at 11 a.m. Saturday in St. Mary’s Catholic church. Rev. Edward J. Kromenaker, pastor, will officiate. The Rosary Society and women of the parish will conduct a Rosary service at 8 p.m. Thursday in the funeral home. Rev. Bernard LaBelle, assistant pastor, will conduct Rosary devotions at 8 p.m. Friday in the funeral ome. Burial will be in St. Mary’s Cemetery."

A memorial service will be at 11 a.m. Saturday, May 13, 2000, in St. Martin's Lutheran Church, Marine City, with Pastor Troy G. Waite officiating. Interment with family graveside service already took place in Woodlawn Cemetery, Marine City. Arrangements were entrusted to the Bower-Rose Funeral Home, Marine City."

"St. Clair - Mr. Robert Joseph Ellery, 76, of St. Clair, died unexpectedly, Monday, April 12, 1999. He was born April 25, 1922 to the late Arthur and Ruth Ellery, and was a lifelong resident of St. Clair. Bob, a former pilot, political enthusiast, artist, and craftsman, was a member of many organizations, including Knights of Columbus #2251, St. Clair (former Grand Knight), branch manager to the Secretary of State, veteran of the U.S. Navy serving during World War II. He was St. Clair Township supervisor for 3 terms. Robert and his wife, Lillian, owned and operated Ellery's Greenhouse in St. Clair Twp. He was the former owner of Algonac Tool & Die, a retired employee of BTM, and a machine shop teacher for St. Clair County Skill Center. Mr. Ellery, a loving family man, is survived by his wife, Lillian of St. Clair; son, Gary and Barb Ellery of St. Clair Twp.; five daughters and sons-in-law, Nancy and Jim Ichenberg of Kimball Twp., Linda and Jack Nowosad of Fort Gratiot, Debbie Jacobson of St. Clair, Donna Ellery of Marysville, and Shelly and Joe Beeler of Kimball Twp.; 21 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren; brothers and sister, Herb and Barb Ellery of Utah, Virginia and

Captain Thomas A. Ellery

"Was Lake Captain at the Age of 16 Years - Capt. T. A. Ellery Has Passed Away - Well Known Marysville Man Dies Thursday Morning. - Came to Port Huron When But 14 Years of Age - Capt. Thomas A. Ellery, of Marysville died at 4 o'clock this morning, aged 72 years, after a short illness. Capt. Ellery was born in Vermont on May 20, 1837, and came to Port Huron when 14 years of age. In 1852 he sailed for a time on the schooner Eugene, with Capt. John Sinclair, sr., and finished on the Lady Janes, acting as master of her during the illness of the captain. During the years following Capt. Ellery sailed on the schooner Trader, schooner Star, schooner Emma, brig Preble, schooner R. J. Gibbs, steam barge Mary Mills and other boats belonging to the Mills Transportation Co. He has led a retired life for some time past. Capt. Ellery was one of the best known vessel men on the lakes and during his career owned a number of boats..."

"Lexington - Edna M. Elliott, age 89, of Lexington died Saturday, May 13, 2000, in her home. She was born July 23, 1910, in Bad Axe, daughter of the late August and Ida (Schneider) Bredow. She married Elwin John Elliott in Ohio on April 17, 1929. He passed away on May 16, 1994. She was the owner and operator, with her husband, of a mail delivery service. She was a member of the Order of Eastern Star Lodge #137, Lexington. Surviving are two grandchildren, Linda Schultz and Thomas Elliott; and three great-grandchildren, Karl Schultz, Halie and Alise Elliott; one sister, Elsie Pawlosky; and one sister-in-law, Nettie Bredow. She is also survived by nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by a son, Gilbert; brothers, Edward (Kay) Bredow, William Bredow and Carl (Gertrude) Bredow; sisters, Minnie (Cliff) Rice, Martha (Edward) Sams and Bertha (Herb) Pfile; and a brother-in-law, Edward Pawlosky. Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. Tuesday at the Pomeroy Funeral Home, Lexington. The Rev. Gary Imms, minister at First Presbyterian Church in Croswell, will officiate. An O.E.S. Service will be at 7:30 p.m. Monday. Visitation will be from 2 to 9 p.m. Monday. Burial will be at the Lexington Cemetery. Memorials may be made to the United Hospice."

"Port Huron - Essie Mae Ellis, 72, of Port Huron, died Saturday. Dec. 18, 1999, in Port Huron Hospital. She was born Aug. 24, 1927, in England, Ark. to the late Henry and Veda Givins Nellum. Mrs. Ellis retired from Prestolite Wire Company. She leaves to mourn three daughters, Thelma Palmer of Nashville, Tenn., and Virginia and Carolyn Ellis; four sons. Mr. and Mrs. Theodis (Linda) Ellis, Mr. and Mrs. John (Jean) Ellis, Mr. and Mrs. Charles (Lisa) Ellis, all of Port Huron. and Mr. and Mrs. David (Jackie) Ellis of Southfield, 15 grandchildren; nine great grandchildren; two brothers, Pau) and Sam Nellum of Lonoke, Ark.; and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by a son, Perry Ellis. Visitation will be 7 to 9 p.m. today in the Pollock-Randall Funeral Home. Funeral services will be 1 p.m. Wednesday, Dec. 22, 1999, in Pilgrim Baptist Church, Port Huron. The Rev. Alex Crittenden will officiate. Burial will be in Lakeside Cemetery, Port Huron."

Dora Elspass
"Miss Dora Elspass died at 12:30 Monday night after a week's illness. The disease appeared as inflammation in the region of the appendix, developed into abcess and was operated upon Monday in the hope of saving the sufferer's life, but in vain. Death claimed her about twelve hours later. The deceased was a native of St. Clair where she was born, Jan. 12, 1882. She was educated in the schools of this city and went through the Tenth grade. She was to have been married next week and was laid out in her wedding dress. Her intended husband, Hilbert Ball of Milwaukee has been here since Friday. In addition to Mr. Ball she leaves a mother, Mrs. Margaret Elspass, two brothers and a sister to mourn her loss. She was a member of the Catholic church and was very much esteemed by her associates. The funeral was held Thursday morning from St. Mary's church and was conducted by Rev. Fr. N. L. Maschino. Among the mourners was her half brother Henry Elspass and wife of Cleveland and number of people from Corunna and Lagerite, Ont., and also from Marine City."

"St. Clair - Funeral services for Mrs. Eunice M. Emig, 67, of 1618 Riverside, who died Saturday, will be held at 11 a.m. Tuesday in First United Methodist Church, St. Clair. She was the wife of William R. Emig. Rev. Merton Seymour, pastor, will officiate. Burial will be in Hillside Cemetery, St. Clair. Memorials may be made to the First United Methodist Church, St. Clair, or the American Cancer Society. Remains will be in L. C. Friederichs and Son Funeral Home, St. Clair, afternoon today. Mrs. Emig graduated from the University of Michigan Nursing School in 1930 and nursed there for seven years. She was a nurse in the obstetric wards of both Mercy and River District Hospitals, retiring from River District Hospital in 1965. She was a member of the Simpson Park Association; a former counselor at the Lake Huron Methodist Camp and a member of the St. Clair Music Club. In addition to survivors listed in Saturday's Times Herald, Mrs. Emig is survived by her mother, Mrs. Ethel McMullen, St. Clair."

"St. Clair - William R. Emig, 74, of 1618 Riverside, St. Clair, died unexpectedly Sunday in Barton City, Mich. He was born July 18, 1901, in China Township. He was a member of First United Methodist church, St. Clair. He was an area milk hauler for 22 years, and former rural mall carrier in the Marine City area. He farmed for many years in China Township, and was an area fur buyer. He retired in 1965 after 17 years with the St. Clair County Road Commission. His wife Eunice, died Oct. 26, 1974. He is survived by two sons, Vaughn D. Emig, St. Clair; and Lee W. Emig, Carsonville; a sister, Mrs. Olive Smith, St. Clair; two brothers, Oscar Emig, St. Clair and Carl W. Emig, Marine City; and two grandsons, David T. and Duane C. Emig, St. Clair. The remains will be in the L. C. Friederichs and Son Funeral Home, St. Clair, today from 7 to 9 p.m. and Tuesday, from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Funeral services will be held Wednesday at 1:30 p.m. in the funeral home. The Rev. Doug Trebilcock, pastor of First United Methodist church, St. Clair, will officiate. Burial will be in Hillside Cemetery, St. Clair. Memorials may be made to First United Methodist Church."

"St. Clair - Marion A. Endelmann, 69, died Dec. 24 [1983] in her home after a long illness. She was born Aug 23, 1914, in St. Clair and was a lifelong city resident. She married Leland R. Endelmann Feb. 1, 1936, in East Detroit. He died Nov. 3, 1969. She was a member of St. Mary's Catholic Church and its rosary altar society. She was a charter member, newsletter editor and past president of the board of directors of the Blue Water Area, Port Huron Chapter, of the United Ostomy Association. Mrs. Endelmann also was a member of the St. Clair Historical Society and was a volunteer worker at Rive District Hospital, East China Township. She is survived by four sons, Leland R., Lake Orion, Jon C., Cleveland, Kenneth R., Marysville, and Thomas R., Lansing; three sisters, Mrs. Florence Brugess, Rosdommon, Mrs. Betty Christienson, Dahlonega, Ga., and Bessy Przybyla, Midland; and 14 grandchildren. A son, Joel, died earlier. Funeral services were held Dec. 28 in St. Mary's Catholic Church. The Rev. Edward Ritter, pastor, officiated. Burial was in Hillside Cemetery. Arrangements were made by the L.C. Friederichs and Son funeral Home. Memorials may be made to the Visiting Nurses Association of St. Clair County."

“East China Township - Elmer F. Enders, 64, died Sunday, Feb. 13, 1994. He was born May 23, 1929, in Marine City, a son of Elmer F. Enders and Bertha Kemp. He married Joyce Trader June 27, 1953, in Ferndale. Mr. Enders was a price analyst for the U. S. Department of Defense and served in the U. s. Army during the Korean conflict as a combat engineer. He was a member of Immanuel Lutheran Church in St. Clair. He is survived by his wife, Joyce; son and daughter-in-law, Gregg and Jerri Enders of Marine City; son, Thomas J. Enders of East China Township; daughter and son-in-law, Debra and Robert Blake of St. Clair; six grandchildren, Gregg II, Michael, Emily and Jacob Enders, and Heather and Adam Blake; a sister, Carol Moore of Florida; and two brothers, Jack Sharp of Troy and Jim Sharp of Swartz Creek. Services are 10 a.m. Wednesday in the Bower-Rose Funeral Home in Marine City. The Rev. Alan Schwieger will officiate. There will be no visiting.”

Rosamonde H. Endres
"Mrs. Endres, retired teacher - Marine City - Services for Rosamonde H. Endres, 75, will be held at 9:30 a.m. Friday in the colonial Chapel Funeral Home and 10 a.m. in Holy Cross Catholic Church. The Rev. Geoorge W. Browne, associate pastor, will officiate. Burial will be in the church cemetery. Mrs. Endres died Tuesday, May 13, 1980, in River District Hospital after a lengthy illness. She was born July 25, 1904, in Columbus Township. She married Peter W. Endres June 30, 1934, in St. Clair. He died Aug. 24, 1965. Mrs. Endres taught in rural and area schools for 35 years. She taught in the Palms elementary School for 10 years. She served on the landscaping committee for the Palms Road Nature Trail. She was a 4-H leader for many years. Mrs. Endres was a parishioner of Holy Cross Catholic Church. She was a member of the church altar society; the Daughters of Isabella; St. Clair County Education Association; Michigan Education Association; National Education association; and the Retired School Personnel Association. Mrs. Endres is survived by a daughter, Mrs. Joyce Ann Figa, Clarkston, and Louise Yeip, St. Clair; and three grandchildren. Funeral home visiting hours begin at 3 p.m. today. The Daughters of Isabella will recite a rosary at 8 p.m. today in the funeral home. A rosary will be recited at 8:30 p.m. Thursday in the funeral home. Memorials may be made to the American Lung Association of Michigan."

Mary Engelgau
"Miss Mary Engelgau, 79, passed away Monday, April 5th, at the home of her sister Miss. Charles Currier, S. 7th street. She was born July 14, 1869, and came to St. Clair with her parents Joseph Peter and Mary Bix Engelgau, at an early age. Surviving are five sisters; Mrs. Gertrude Langell, Detroit, Mrs. George Akred, Pontiac; Mrs. Robert Kennedy, New York; Mrs. James McArthur, St. Thomas, Ont. and Mrs. Charles Currier, St. Clair, also many nieces and nephews. Rosaries were said Monday night by women of the Parish and the Rosary Society and Tuesday night by men of the Parish, led by Fr. Carlton W. Kraus. Funeral services were held Wednesday morning at 9:30 from the Frederichs funeral home, and 10 a.m. from St. Mary's Church. Burial was in St. Mary's cemetery. Six nephews, Jack and Bob Currier, Irwin, Walter, Chester and William Engelgau were pall-bearers."

"Adair, Jan. 24 - Elmer Eschenberg, 63, lumber mill operator in Adair since 1920, died unexpectedly Friday night in his home at 3462 Palms road, Casco Township. Mr. Eschenberg was born in Casco Township, Sept. 14, 1889. He married Bertha Sass in 1915. He is survived by his widow, two daughters, Mrs. Harold Sass and Mrs. Joseph Faulk, Adair; two grandchildren, a sister, Mrs. Otto Maedel, Richmond, and two nieces. Remains will be taken to the family residence today from T. R. Bower funeral home, St. Clair. Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Monday in First Evangelical and Reformed church, Adair, with Rev. John A. Keller, pastor, officiating. Burial will be in Richmond, Cemetery."

"Jeddo - William August Essenburg, 79, of Jeddo died Friday, May 5, 2000, in Port Huron Hospital. He was born Jan. 24, 1921, in Romeo to the late William C. F. and Anna (Stuemke) Essenburg. He married Zetta M. Keener on Jan. 29, 1944. They celebrated 56 years of marriage this past January. He was a loving husband, father and grandfather. He was a lifelong farmer and was employed for 30 years at Homer Block (Imlay City Concrete). He attended Yale Trinity Missionary Church. Surviving are his wife, Zetta; three daughters, Karen Essenburg of Jeddo, JoAnn E. Vargo of Lakeport and Christine J. Soule of Croswell; a son, William T. (Ruth) of Jeddo; a sister, Nora Allen of Tennessee; two brothers, August (Arlene) Essenburg of Almont and Carl (Ruby) Essenburg of Capac. He is also survived by grandchildren, Christian (Sheree) Kreger of Capac, Robert, Ben and Jason Soule of Croswell, and Alex Elizabeth Vargo of Lakeport; great-granddaughter, Andreia Kreger of Capac; step-grandchildren, Denise (Gary) Reid, Ronald (Kathy) Jamison, Jane (Don) Darmody and Alex C. (Bonnie) Vargo; five step-great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews. William Essenburg is preceded in death by his brothers, Herman and Duane Essenburg, and a son-in-law, Alex J. Vargo. Services will be at 11 a.m. Monday in the Pomeroy Funeral Home, Lexington. The Rev. Steven Howell, pastor of Yale Trinity Missionary Church, will officiate. Friends may call from 2 to 8 p.m. today. Burial will be in the Burtchville Township Cemetery. Memorials may be made to the church."

"Camp Dix, Ky. - Falmouth O. Evans, 83, of Camp Dix, Ky. died Thursday, March 12, 1998 at the Ohio State University Medical Center, Columbus, Ohio, due to complications following Aneurysm Surgery. Falmouth was born in Vanceburg, Ky. on Dec. 14, 1914 to the late Frances and Amanda Lewis Evans. He is survived by his wife of 59 years, Evelyn Lewis Evans; three daughters, Mrs. Billy D. (Doris) Thoroughman, Flemingsburg, Ky., Mrs. Paul (Pat) Bryant of Vanceburg, Ky. and Mrs. Ezra (Sandi) Bartee of Lakeport, MI.; two sons and daughters-in-law, Mr. Fred and Linda Evans of Owenton, Ky. and Mr. Larry and Janet Evans of Camp Dix, Ky.; brothers, Raymond and Vernon Evans of Port Huron; sister, Velva Suprenant of Port Huron; 16 grandchildren; and 17 great-grandchildren. His 18th great-grandchild will be born in October. He was preceded in death by a daughter, Joyce Ann Hobbs on June 14, 1994, his sisters, Lena and Leva Goodwin, Victoria Bartee and Lorraine Evans, half-brothers, Elwood and Ernest Evans, three brothers, Leo, Edward and Alva Evans and one half-sister, Flora Mahaney. Fal was a devoted husband, loving father and cherished grandfather. Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. today in the Vanceburg Church of God. The Rev. Edison Buchanan and The Rev. Tom Mullins will officiate. Burial will be at Stone Cemetery, Camp Dix, Ky. Arrangements are by the Gaydos Funeral Home, Vanceburg, Ky."
