Ministers of the Early Local Churches

Early Ministers and their Churches
(before 1900)

In an attempt to pinpoint where these earlier marriages occurred and what religion the ministers represented, I have gone through the records taking note of references to their churches. In addition to this, Michael Dingman has extracted information concerning ministers from the A.T. Andreas book. Also, Joan Thomson has sent a list from the Methodist Church of St. Clair (1820-1976). I would think that there should be church records in addition to these civil records, but I am not certain. I do not know any more about the ministers at this time than that which is contained in the transcribed records. If anyone has access to any area histories which refer to the churches and their ministers, I would love to hear from you. Thank you, Michael Dingman & Susan Kenyon for the information you have provided.
