"Genealogical materials are located in the Reference Section on the main floor and in the Michigan Room on the lower level. Materials in Reference are designated by an "R" before the call number, those in the Michigan Room by "MR". Ask at the desk for material labeled "Special". Newspaper, census and county records on microfilm may be used any time the library is open. Microfilm readers and reader-printers are available on the main floor.
