MEADS -- Wa11ie A. Meads. 3318 Clair-
mont, age 86, died, Thursday. Decem-
ber 21, 1961, at Hurley Hospital. Prayer
service will be held, at 7 p,m. Friday,
December 22, 1961, from Colonial Chap-
el. Reigle Funeral Home. 2417 S. Sagi-
naw. St., Rev. Wilbur D. Phillips off-
ciating. Burial in Elmira Cemetery, El-
mira, Mich. Mr. Meads will be at
the funeral home. Funeral services
will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday,
December , 23, 1961, from the Free
Methodist Church, Elmira. Death was
due to a short illness. He was born
in Vicksburg, Michigan, February 23,
1878, and had lived in Flint for the
last 7 years, spending most of his life
in Antrim County. Mr. Meads retired.
from the Pennsylvania Railroad about
20 years ago. Surviving are; Daughter,
Mrs . Sam O1and of Holland, Michigan;
sister, Mrs. Oscar Wilfong of Flint;.
brother, Vern Meads of Boyne City,
Michigan; four half sisters, Mrs.
Thomas Ford of Brutus, Mich.;
Mrs. Daniel Moyer of Boyne City,
Mrs. Fred Kobel of' Elmira; Mrs.
Albert Triplett of Kalkaska, Michigan;
halfbrother, Oscar Wilfong of Flint;
6 grandchildren; several great-grand-
children, nieces, nephews and a host of
friends.
