LORENTZ RITES HELD IN ELMIRA

Funeral rites were held at the Free Methodist Church in Elmira, Decmeber 27, for Mrs. Helen Lorentz, 74 years old, a resident of Elmira for 67 years. Services were conducted by Elder Allen Schreur and burial was in Maple Hill at Elmira.

Death came to Mrs. Lorentz on December 22 at the Meadow Brook Hospital in Bellaire. She was born in New York State on May 25, 1874, and was married to Stephen Lorentz, May 25, 1890.

Surviving are two daughters, Mrs. Marie [Mamie] Lemons of Boyne City, Mrs. Flossie Carothers of Fife Lake; a son Roscoe Lorentz of Gaylord; a sister, Mrs. Loop of Elmira; and 21 grandchildren and several great grandchildren.
