"Pioneer Resident Died December 21"

Joseph F. Kobylinski, aged 78 years and 10 months, passed away at his farm home eight miles east of Gaylord Tuesday, December 21, of pnuemonia, after a few days illness. Funeral services were held at St. Mary church Friday, with interment in St. Mary cemetery. Fr. Kaminski officiating.

Mr. Kobylinski was born at Utica, N.Y., Feb 8 1865. In 1878 he came to Otsego county and settled on the farm he has continuously operated for 65 years.

His entire energies were devoted to farming. A good neighbor and friend, his presence will be sadly missed by his friend and neighbors.

Mr. Kobylinski was married to Miss Martha Dipsinski a half century ago, and to this union 10 children were born, Clement and Casimer having preceeded him in death.

Those left to mourn their loss are the widow, three daughters, Mrs. Virginia Fraser of Bay City, Mrs. Tillie Kobylczak and Mrs. Margaret Tomyzak, both of Saginaw, and five sons, Ignacius and Joseph of Bay City, and Michael and Leo of Saginaw, and Julian who operates the farm.

All the children were home for the funeral.
