ALFRED GALLOWAY
BURIED IN CORWITH

Funeral services for Alfred Galloway, former resident of Vanderbilt, were conducted by the Rev. Herbert Seebee at the Free Methodist Church in Grayling on February 23. Burial was in Corwith Township cemetery [Otsego County]
Mr. Galloway died of injuries suffered when he was struck by a truck while walking on U.S. 27, a mile south of Grayling.

Born March 5, 1878 at Vernon Township in Shiawasee County, Mr. Galloway came to Otsego County with his parents and family when a young child. They lived here for many years until Mr. Galloway moved to Grayling where he
operated a farm.

Surviving besides the wife are a daughter, Mrs. Elsie Deno of Grayling; five sons, Thomas and John of Flint, Clarence, Frank and Alfred Galloway Jr.- all of Grayling; several grandchildren and two great grandchildren; a sister, Mrs. Martha Bailey of New York; and three brothers, John of Coleman, Thomas of Midland and William of New York.
