Lawrence L. Fuelling, 62 of Gaylord died Tuesday, Feb 29, 2000 at the University of Michigan Hospital in Ann Arbor, Michigan. Mr. Fuelling was born in Detroit on Feb 12, 1938 and was employed as a repair technician by Michigan Bell Telephone for 30 years. He moved to Gaylord in 1987 and was a member of the First United Methodist church, the Elks Lodge and The Faternal Order of Eagles. He also enjoyed golf and woodworking. Mr. Fuelling is survived by his wife, Sue; his children, Gene of Westland, David (Sherry) of Virginia Beach, Va., Tammy (Tony) Connoff of Garden City and his stepson Andrew DeGroot of Washington Township; two brothers, Wesley (Pat) Fuelling of Lake Orion and Russell (Donna) Fuelling of Dearborn Heights and six granchildren, Justine, Risa, Brittny, and Amanda Fuelling and Tyler and Tara Conoff. He was preceded in death by his parents Ralph and Tabea Fuelling and one brother, Lloyd. Funeral services will be held Saturday, March 4 at 11 a.m. from the First United Methodist Church in Gaylord with the Rev. John Naile officiating Burial will be in Fairview cemetery.
