Midland Genealogical Society - Membership Information

Membership

Your past is waiting to be found, and the Midland Genealogical Society is here to help. Following are some of the benefits of becoming a Society member.

Membership in the Midland Genealogical Society includes a subscription to The Pioneer Record, the newsletter of the Midland Genealogical Society. The Pioneer Record is published in September, November, February, and April.

Each issue of The Pioneer Record contains a wealth of information, including

  • local family history
  • research tips and techniques
  • website resources
  • member profiles
  • reports of Society events
  • local, state, and national genealogical information, including future seminars, workshops, and regulatory issues.

Research

Midland Genealogical Society volunteers are available in the Midland Room of the Grace A. Dow Memorial Library weekday afternoons from 1:00–4:00 p.m. to answer your questions and to assist you in locating materials.

Volunteers will do a limited search using Midland County records in the Library. Extensive research can also be done. Please send SASE for more information on extensive research. Queries should be mailed to:
