Anyone who has looked at our meeting schedules probably realizes we have had a lot of indexing sessions over the years. Why? To contribute back to the genealogical community. Our regularly held indexing sessions have contributed data to several databases, to which Mount Clemens Public Library provides free access
for genealogists everywhere.
Most of the resources that these databases index are available
in the Michigan Room of the Mount Clemens Public Library
located at 150 Cass Ave., Mt. Clemens, Michigan.
The library's Michigan Room holds the genealogical and historical collections. While the primary focus is on Macomb County and the surrounding area, the collections do have resources covering a variety of locations across the United States and Canada along with a few European locals.
