d. Browntown, Manistee Co., Michigan, 1st March, Anthony ROGERS, age 76, s/o Anthong ROGERS of North West Miramichi, N.B., one of the oldest settlers. He left Miramichi in 1849 and was four years in Milwaukee and after that went to Manistee and has since been one of the principal lumbermen of the county. He was married to Margaret SWEET d/o John SWEET. He was father of ten children, four of whom are living and he had 30 grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren who are living in the neighborhood.

F.L. TIBBITTS and wife of Milwaukee arrived here Friday and spent a few days in town visiting Mrs. Tibbitts' brother, Conductor STREET. They proceeded to Andover (Victoria Co.) Monday to visit their brothers. It is 19 years since Mr. Tibbitts left for the west, where he is engaged in the lumbering business. He was for several years an alderman in Milwaukee and for one term Mayor.
