Richland refers to their sections as blocks.  Some of the block numbers are actual township block numbers and some we have modified to make it easier to find grave sites.  We did this when there is no clear separation between the blocks  The cemetery is split into 2 separate cemeteries; one north of M-89 Highway and one south of the highway.  The beginning letter of the block number states whether it is in the north or south cemetery.  The north cemetery has no block designations, so we split it into 4 blocks to simplify locating graves.
