Site Information:

Founded in 1885 by W. E. Upjohn, this major pharmaceutical manufacturer was arguably the area’s major employer and most-caring corporate citizen.  It was merged with Pharmacia (a Swedish megacorp) in 1995 and the merged companies were acquired y Pfizer in 2003.  The thumbnails below will reveal Upjohn in its heyday.
