340 E. Michigan Avenue

Bowser's was eventually transformed from a lounge to a ragtime sing-a-long joint.  It became Club Soda in 1983.  The building dates from the turn of the century.  Originally the building was the Arlington Hotel and then later the Columbia Hotel.  The painted ad on the side of the building is still visible today.
