I just want to inform you that I have transcribed the tombstones of the
Pleasant Grove (aka Kennedy) Cemetery, located in Henrietta Twp.,
Jackson County and the Cradit Cemetery, located in Leoni Twp., Jackson
County. The transcriptions of Pleasant Grove was done in 1995 and
Cradit was done in 1982.
It is important to know that when the DAR Transcribed the Cemeteries in
Jackson Co. for the WPA Project, they listed the burials for the "old"
MacArthur Cemetery as those in Cradit. Therefore, it does not list any
of the Cradit burials accurrately. It may be fortunate though that
they transcribed "old" MacArthur because all of the tombstones were
destroyed during the 1970's.
