Looking for any information on Circuit Judge Albert WIDDIS of Tawas City, Iosco Co. ( I have located him there on the 1920 census.) My understanding is that Judge Widdis was involved in some sort of scandal around 1928 which forced him to resign and leave the area. I am interested in confirming whether he came from Ontario, Canada, and was possibly a member of a branch of Irish immigrant families I am currently researching.

I am trying to find out what became of my g-aunt Martha Johnson. Her husbands name was Walter. Her maiden name was either Eick or Lovell. She may have been related to Ida Heck, Ann Arendt or Emma Hall who all lived in MI, too. Last known address (from 1981) was on Riverside Dr. in Oscoda, MI. She also lived in Macomb County and in Detroit. Can anyone help me locate more about her or her descendants?
