The following data was submitted by Harold E. Brown of Bath, ME and appeared in Downeast Ancestry, Volume 4, No. 3, Oct 1980, p 28. He stated "... this cemetery is among 18 not listed in Mary Pelham Hill's compilation of Phippsburg Vital Records." ... "this cemetery is remote and difficult to find. It is on the east side of Morse Mountain, near the shore of Morse River." ... "there is one other Morse Cemetery on the John Morse property."
