Funeral services for Milford Baker, who lost his life in a drowning accident at Wyman Dam pool Monday, took place from the Congregational church Wednesday afternoon. Friends and relatives from all parts of the State attended the service, many being obliged to stand at the outside of the church. Rev. Arthur R. Macdougall Jr. pastor and personal friend conducted the brief rites. The banks of flowers expressed much sympathy.

Interment was in the village cemetery and he was borne to his restng place by six boyhood friends, Errold Hilton, Robert Moore, Vernard Pierce, John Gordon, Donald O'Brien, and Orrin Hill.

Mr. Baker, 33 years of age, was born in Moscow, the elder son of Mr. and Mrs. Elmer Baker. He was educated in the local schools. During recent years he has been in business and his photographic work is widely known. His life has been valuable in the community, especially in Masonic and church affiliation.

Surviving are his wife, Ruby Carpenter Baker, his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Elmer Baker, a sister, Mrs. Lois Dutton and a brother, Gregory Baker.
