Miss Janet Doe, student at Farmington Normal School, was a week-end guest of her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Harold Doe.
Paul Morrison, student at Wentworth Institute in Boston, was a week-end guest of his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Howard Morrison.
Mr. and Mrs. James Clark and daughter Sandra Joan, and Bernard Andrews spent the week-end in Greenville.
Mrs. Josephine Sawyer visitied her mother, Mrs. Emma Gipson, in Bangor last Frieday.
Mr. and Mrs. Errold Hilton and daughter Shirley, Mr. and Mrs. Harold Baldwin, and Mrs. Edmund Melcher attended Kents Hill-Hebron football game last Saturday.
Mrs. Effie Jane Craig of Orono and sons, William and John Craig, students at the University of Maine were week-end guests of relatives in town.
Morris Wing, student at the University of Maine, was a week-end guest of his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Harold Wing.
Mr. and Mrs. Thomas Feeney are the parents of twin boys, Thomas Sargent, jr., and Kenneth Lee, born last Sunday morning.
Mrs. J. Leon Williams closed her Summer home at Concord Haven this week, and John Gallant is driving Mrs. Williams to California where she will spend the Winter.
Mr. and Mrs. Tilson Foss, Miss Evelyn McColler, Reginald McColler and Clyde Skillin had dinner at the Pine Tree Camp at Long Pond last Sunday.
Mr. and Mrs. Hayden Rogers returned to their home after spending a week with Mr. Rogers' parents, Mr. and Mrs. L.D. Rogers of Bath. Mr. and Mrs. Rogers attended the Bowdoin-Maine football game at Brunswick last Saturday.
Mrs. Austin Moody of St. Petersburg, Florida, was a guest last week of Mrs. Howard Hagar.
Dr. and Mrs. George Sullivan of Bingham entertained Dr. and Mrs. Richard Laney of Skowhegan as dinner guests last Sunday.
Mr. and Mrs. Robert Moore entertained Mrs. Moore's parents, Mr. and Mrs. Maynard Skinner, and her uncle and aunt, Mr. and Mrs. Carl French of Orleans, Vermont, over the week-end.
Howard Moore, formerly a resident of Bingham, and who now is working in New Hampshire, was in town calling on friends last Tuesday.
Albert Bushey, who is employed as operator of a steam shovel for the Great Northern Paper Co. in constructin [sic]a dam at Mattawamkeag, spent the week-end with his family.
Mr. and Mrs. Albert Bushey were dinner guests last Sunday of Mr. Bushey's parents, Mr. and Mrs. John Bushey of Skowhegan.
Mr. and Mrs. Chester Hammond and daughters Joan and Dorothy, spent the week-end in Portland.
Kenneth Woodard of Augusta and Earl Taylor are hunting at Lake Austin for a few days this week.
Pearl Woodard and Harley Strout are spending two weeks hunting int he vicinity of Lake Austin.
Mrs. Effie Jane Craig,and her sons, Billy and John, and Mr. and Mrs. Ethen Robinston of Dexter, were week-end guests of Mr. and Mrs. Robie Robinson.
Mrs. Helen Gordon of Washington, D.C. was a guest of Mrs. Alton Carl, last Monday.
Mr. and Mrs. Kenneth Russell of Manchester, N.H., were week-end guests of Mr. Russell's parents, Mr. and Mrs. Benjamin Russell.
Mrs. Arthur West of Manchester, N.H., spent the week-end at her home at Wyman Dam.
Mrs. Florence Woodard and daughter Barbara Frances, spent a few days this week with Mrs. Woodard's parents, Mr. and Mrs. Earl Taylor.
Mr. and Mrs. Earl Taylor and Mrs. Woodard and daughrer Barbara Frances, visited Mr. and Mrs. Clinton Woodard and family of Guilford last Sunday.
Mr. and Mrs. Ernest Andrews were callers on Mr. and Mrs. Clinton Woodard and family of Guilford last Sunday.
Clarence Dutton and Maurice Alkins attended the annual meeting of the Maine Municipal Association in the City Hall in Augusta last Tuesday.
Allan Robinson attended the initiation of his fraternity, Chi Psi, at Bowdoin last week-end. Mrs. Allan Robinson spent the week-end with Mr. and Mrs. Colby Robinson of Portland.
Mrs. Junie Witham, Mrs. Howard Haggar, Mrs. Calla Shepardson, Miss Janet Smith, Miss Ada Senior, Blin Witham and Dwight Witham, attended guest night of Sunset Chapter, Order of Eastern Star, at Skowhegan last Friday evening.
Miss Florence Murray visited in Augusta on Wednesday and Thursday.
Miss Adela Murphy of Solon and Miss Eleanor Collins of Bingham left for Boston to visit friends and relatives. They will be gone a week.
Mrs. Calla Shepardson and Mr. and Mrs. Bernard Shepardson were visitors in Stetson last Sunday.
Mr. and Mrs. Harry Williams, the Rev. and Mrs. Arthur R. Macdougall, Mrs. William Pooler, Walter Robinson, and Arlie Dinsmore attended the funeral services of Frost Williams at Jackman last Sunday.
Mrs. Robie Howes has returned from the Eastern Maine General Hospital in Bangor.
Miss Florence Murray, Benjamin Adams, Mr. and Mrs. W.W. Stoddard, Alden Goodrich, and Mrs. Ervin Moore, attended the wedding anniversary of Mr. and Mrs. John Fitzsimmons in Caratunk last Saturday evening.
Mr. and Mrs. Alfred Boutin and daughter Barbara, have moved to Taunton, Mass.
Charles Hilton of Skowhegan is visiting relatives in town.
