Need help in confirming the family surname of Amos COHEA. Originally thought to be in Kent Co. in 1790 census, but other COHEA names surface with marriages in Dorchester and Queen Anne's counties.  Need help in associating the names in the different counties. No children names are known at this time of Amos COHEA. What is relationship of William COHEA m. Sept 29, 1797 to Rebecca RICHARDSON in Kent Co. and John COHEA m. to Susanna WILSON on December 6, 1797 in Kent Co. William COHEA, #618, is in the Dorchester Co. 1800 census. Name variations are: COHEA, COHE, COHER, COHEE. Could this name be an American Indian derivative? Thanks.
