56. THOMAS MASSEY MYERS, was born about 1799 in S.C.. He died on 8 Oct 1861. Massey and Jane are found in the 1850 census of Clark Co. Ms. pg. 156, house # 126. Son George is house # 127, and son Marcus is house # 128. The 1860 census shows us they are in Natchidoches Parish, La. house # 1147.

Bienville Parish, La. 21 Sept. 1861, Massy and wife Jane sold 159.81 acres in Scott Co. Ms. to John Holland for $39.94. Wittness: Jos. F. Copeland, & L. G. Barron.


Massey spoke Cherokee, and Choctaw fluently.

57. JANE C. OWENS was born about 1809. She died on 5 Nov 1869. Lic signed by her brother Etheldred Owens.
