28. MARCUS LAFAYETTE MYERS was born about 1825 in Alabama. Marcus married second: 15 Nov. 1874 Penina A. Rachal. ch: Emily A. Myers, Pearl Myers

We find Marcus and Martha with daughter Jane in the 1850 census of Clark Co. Ms. pg. 156, house 128. His father and mother, Massey and Jane Myers, live in house 126. His brother, George Myers, lives in house 127.

Mark served in the Civil War, Co. K. 2nd Ms. Calvary.

29. MARTHA (CAROLINE ?) SMITH was born about 1830 in Alabama. She died ca. 1879/82 ?. William Marion Myers death cert. states that his mother was Caroline Smith.
